Vegetarian or vegan lunch trays for the office: the best options in Paris

The best vegetarian lunch tray for the office is a real meal, starter, main and dessert, as filling as the chicken tray, and not a stand-in salad. At L'Écrin Traiteur, three vegetarian trays, La Solaire, La Provençale and La Potagère, cost €28.90 per person excl. VAT, delivered from 6:30 am in Paris and Île-de-France. What are the best vegetarian lunch trays? Our selection

1. La Solaire, hummus and falafels

Hummus, olive oil and toasted bread, hearty quinoa with falafels and tahini sauce, Signature cookie. Chickpeas and quinoa: a dish that keeps you going until the evening.

2. La Provençale, pasta with pesto

Aubergine caviar and rosemary focaccia, pasta with pesto, mozzarella and sun-dried tomatoes, panna cotta with red berries. For pasta and cheese lovers.

3. La Potagère, lentils and roasted vegetables

Pissaladière tartlet and baby leaves, lentil salad with feta and roasted vegetables, lemon and lemon curd verrine. A complete, colourful dish.

4. For a lunch to share: Le Jardin

If you prefer a shared table to individual trays, our sharing menu Le Jardin is 100% vegetarian, at €34.90 per person excl. VAT: lentil salad, hummus and focaccia, mini baguettes with egg and Emmental, falafels, aged cheeses, madeleines and fruit.

These trays, like the whole menu, are halal and pork-free, at no extra cost; we do not claim a halal certification. A mixed group can therefore receive one and the same service.

Vegetarian or vegan: what does each tray contain?

Vegetarian means no meat or fish; vegan means no animal products at all (milk, egg, butter, honey). State the number of vegan guests on the quote: we confirm the adapted composition before delivery, at the same price. In addition, several of our products are vegan and gluten-free: fresh fruit skewers (€48.90 excl. VAT for 20) and orchard apple compote (€16.90 excl. VAT for 6).

How many vegetarian trays should you plan for?

First count the declared vegetarians, then add a margin: many flexitarians choose the vegetarian option when it looks appetising. In State-run catering, the law has required a daily vegetarian option since 1 January 2023 when several menus are offered: it has become the norm. Without information, plan about one third vegetarian trays.
