Valentine's Day at the office: an afternoon break for your teams, not for couples
Why mark it at work?
Valentine's Day is a celebration for couples, which is exactly why it feels awkward at work if you take it literally. The right angle is elsewhere: use the date to thank the team. An afternoon break, a word from the manager, pastries chosen with care. Nobody is left out.
What should you serve?
A large cake to share makes the centre of the table: the strawberry cake, light sponge, mousseline cream and fresh strawberries, or the large raspberry tart, each for 10 to 12 people. Around it, a box of 24 macarons by Pierre Morel, a raspberry loaf cake made in-house, apple and raspberry juice. The personalised madeleines carry your message: a thank you, the team name.
Budget
An afternoon break starts at €6 excl. VAT per person, which is €149 excl. VAT delivery included for 20 people. The minimum order is €50 excl. VAT. Personalised madeleines are quoted on request, according to the message and the quantity.
Timing
The next Valentine's Day falls on Sunday 14 February 2027: choose Friday 12 February, late afternoon, between 4 and 5 pm. Order until 2 pm the day before, delivered from 6:30 am across Paris and Île-de-France; from 50 people, or across several sites, 48 hours' notice is recommended. Thirty minutes is enough: the point is to mark the moment.
