Organising Candlemas at the office: our advice
Why Candlemas works so well at work
Candlemas has something few events have: everyone has a childhood memory involving a crêpe. At the office the atmosphere relaxes straight away. No need to explain the idea, and it is not tied to any one exclusive tradition: it is a moment that includes everyone.
Delivered ready to serve, or a crêpe station?
Two formats are possible. Delivery: crêpes made that morning, delivered with the drinks. Simple, quick, easy to manage. The crêpe and pancake station: our team makes the crêpes in front of your colleagues. The second creates more of an occasion but needs a little more space and notice.
The toppings
Allow four or five toppings so everyone finds theirs: lemon and sugar, jam, chocolate spread, whipped cream. Tell us which when you ask for the quote. For those who prefer savoury, add a platter of savoury brioche rolls.
What time should you hold the crêpe break?
Candlemas falls on Tuesday 2 February 2027. It works well mid-morning (10 to 11 am) or as an afternoon break (4 to 5 pm). Avoid lunchtime. Thirty to forty-five minutes is enough for everyone to come through. Order until 2 pm the day before, delivered from 6:30 am across Paris and Île-de-France; from 50 people, or across several sites, 48 hours' notice is recommended.
